Medium and large pure electric sedan ＂Jianbing＂ Hongqi EH7 officially launched

As the first model of Hongqi’s "new energy sub-brand", Hongqi EH7 is based on the new FMEs "flag" super architecture, positioned as a medium and large sedan, and may launch a battery-changing version and a long-range fast-charging version in the future, with a maximum battery life of up to 800km.

The Hongqi EH7 adopts a new design language. The front face is designed in the style of the Hongqi new energy family. The tear-stained headlights are matched with the curved air intake grille under the bumper, which is like a "smiling" smiling face, which is very recognizable. Ultra-short front and rear hangings, smooth lines, segmented waist lines, hidden door handles… No matter from that angle, the Hongqi EH7 follows the minimalist technology aesthetic.

As for the size, the length, width and height of the new car are 4980/1915/1490mm, and the wheelbase is 3000mm, which gives it a slight advantage over its most direct competitor, BYD Han.

The content of Hongqi EH7 pays more attention to the texture and color matching of materials. The seat adopts a four-layer structure, and the front seat can support seat memory, heating and ventilation functions in 12 directions. The center console is equipped with a 6-inch + 15.5-inch curved dual screen, as well as an AR HUD head-up display system. It has a Snapdragon 8155 chip, which is also at the forefront of intelligence.

Hongqi EH7 has 5 cameras, 5 millimeter-wave radars, and 12 ultrasonic sensors to realize intelligent assisted driving. Equipped with the latest generation of five-heat source integrated heat pump air conditioners, it can intelligently identify the number of passengers, and adaptively adjust the wind direction and air volume of the air conditioner according to the distribution of passengers in the car. At the same time, Hongqi has developed a palace-level sound system to bring drivers and passengers a music-like listening experience.

The power performance of the Hongqi EH7 is of the same level of excellence, with a single motor and version optional. The version has a comprehensive power of 455kW, is equipped with 85kWh and 111kWh battery packs, and has a cruising range of 640km and 760km respectively. The single motor version has a maximum power of 253kW and is equipped with 75kWh, 85kWh and 111kWh battery packs, with a cruising range of 600km, 690km and 820km respectively.

Hongqi EH7 brings the industry’s first low-temperature battery technology + multi-heat source integrated thermal management system, which can effectively solve the problem of battery attenuation in low-temperature environments, and the battery life retention rate can reach 70% in winter. It is worth mentioning that the car is equipped with a rear motor that is known as the fastest mass-produced speed, with a peak speed of 22,500 rpm. Compared with Hongqi New Energy’s technology, the landing speed is obviously one step faster.

Since BYD Han,,, and other models have made certain achievements in the medium and large car market, many brands have set their sights on this new frontier. Now Hongqi EH7 integrates strong product strength, and has also launched a "zero pressure and peace of mind" plan with a total value of 100,000 yuan, so that consumers and competitors can see that Hongqi does not roll the price, but insists on "rolling the value". In the next two years, Hongqi new energy brand will launch 15 new energy intelligent products with high frequency and intensive launch, covering A, B, C, D class cars and all market segments respectively. And Hongqi EH7 is a "vanguard", which will help Hongqi new energy rise strongly. According to the plan of Hongqi brand, it is determined that the total sales volume will reach 1 million units by 2025, of which the sales volume of new energy vehicles will exceed 500,000; by 2030, the sales volume will exceed 1.50 million, of which new energy vehicles will become the main body of sales.
