This week, CROWN Crown, which has undergone 15 generations of innovation for 66 years, appeared in Shanghai.
From July 15th to July 16th, the "FAW Toyota Crown Tasting" with the theme of "Inheriting Classics and Forging Legends" was held at the Shanghai 1862 Fashion Art Center.
The choice of 1862 Fashion Art Center, a building that combines history and modernity, hides a brand that has exceeded half a century with CROWN Crown. Through the blessing of Toyota’s TNGA architecture, the classic core and modern technology can be combined to complement each other.
At this tasting session, a 20-meter-long historical promenade recorded the glorious years of the Crown for 66 years.
It is reported that the Crown was born in 1955. It was the first model made by Toyota using its own technology and the first high-end model in the history of the Japanese automobile industry to be truly independently developed. Since then, each generation of "Crown" has integrated Toyota’s leading car-making technology and led the development of the automobile industry.

This time, the products under the Crown brand should be defined under the TNGA framework from the dimensions of quality control management, production process, materials and quiet design. Taking Crown Land as an example, Toyota’s level 1 quality standard is adopted for quality control management; in terms of production process, splash-proof welding technology is used for body welding, and 1113 robots ensure quality and consistency to the greatest extent.
In terms of materials, the interior of Crown Land Fang is made of a large number of soft and high-grade wood grain materials, and the instrument panel is sewn. In addition, the large number of applications of TNGA polymer vibration damping materials, high-efficiency sound insulation glass, and sound-proof vibration isolation materials have made Crown Land Fang quiet and upgraded.
As one of the important strategies of FAW Toyota’s "brand upward", the rejuvenated Crown brand will establish a new height of FAW Toyota’s brand perception with a "big self pattern of leading value and exploring new territory".
