China Film and Wanda Film have reached a cooperation to build 100 additional CINITY cinemas

1905 movie network news Recently, China Film (600977.SH) announced that China Film CINITY and Wanda Film have reached a strategic cooperation, Wanda Film will build 100 CINITY theaters. Before the release, 30 Wanda cinemas will complete the construction of CINITY theaters, mainly distributed in Beijing, Guangzhou, Hangzhou, Xiamen and other cities.

It is reported that CINITY will serve as the exclusive screening partner for the Chinese mainland premiere of "Avatar: The Way of Water", and provide projection system support for the film’s premiere in many countries and regions. Recently, the CINITY projection system has been shipped to Germany and Switzerland, and will be installed and debugged before the release of "Avatar: The Way of Water" on December 16. It will also be mastered and screened in CINITY’s high-tech format.

CINITY is a high-tech format film projection system with our country’s own brand and intellectual property rights. The system integrates high-tech in the fields of 4K, 3D, high brightness, high frame rate, high dynamic range, wide color gamut and immersive sound.

At present, nearly 80 cinemas in more than 30 cities in China have installed the CINITY system. The box office output of CINITY theaters is 2.5 times that of the national single-screen box office output.
