Hongqi EH7 and EHS7 debut at the Paris Motor Show, European pre-sale starts

On September 26, FAW Hongqi announced that it will showcase its new energy models EH7 and EHS7 at the 90th Paris International Motor Show in France, and open pre-sale in Europe. This move marks the further expansion of the Hongqi brand in the European market. After the Goodwood Racing Festival in the UK, Hongqi once again showed the charm of its new energy models on the international stage.

The Hongqi EH7 is the first model after the independent operation of the Hongqi New Energy sub-brand. It is based on the FMEs "flag" super architecture and has a maximum cruising range of 820km. Its design features include a closed front face, an integrated "L" style light group and longitudinal ventilation openings on both sides of the front enclosure, as well as curved double-layer heat dissipation openings. The overall shape is full of visual impact. In terms of power, the EH7 offers single-motor and dual-motor four-wheel drive versions. The dual-motor version has a combined power of 455kW. It is equipped with 85kWh and 111kWh groups, and the cruising range is 640km and 760km respectively. The single-motor version has a maximum power of 253kW and is equipped with battery packs of different capacities. The cruising range is between 600km and 820km.

Hongqi EHS7 is a model positioned as a pure electric medium and large SUV, officially released in 2024. It is equipped with front and rear dual motors, optional lidar, and provides air suspension according to different configurations. EHS7 inherits the safe and reliable gene of Hongqi brand, providing users with national car-grade safety protection and solid battery life. The body size is 4925/1950/1680mm (the height of the whole vehicle is 1665mm when the air spring suspension is optional), and the wheelbase is 3000mm. The whole series matches 111kWh, and the two-wheel drive version has a cruising range of 730 kilometers, and the four-wheel drive version has a cruising range of 680 kilometers.

The pre-sale of these two models at the Paris Motor Show not only demonstrates Hongqi’s innovative strength and manufacturing process in the field of new energy, but also reflects its outstanding performance in terms of handling flexibility, long battery life and driving stability. As Hongqi deepens in the European market, its new energy models are expected to gain more attention and recognition in the local market.
