Hunan Railway Vocational and Technical College and Laos Laode Vocational and Technical College signed a memorandum of exchange and cooperation.
On December 13th and 14th, Hunan Railway Vocational and Technical College organized a communication meeting of China-Laos Vocational Education Industry Alliance in Changsha. Hu Yingman, member of the Party Committee and vice president of Hunan Railway Vocational College, signed a memorandum of exchange and cooperation with Laos Laode Vocational and Technical College on behalf of the school.
As an important representative of vocational education in China, Hunan Railway Vocational College has been committed to improving the internationalization level of the school. On December 13th, Li Wei, director of the International Exchange Department of Hunan Railway Vocational College, and his party had in-depth communication with Laos Laode Vocational and Technical College. Founded in 1964, Laode Vocational and Technical College is a model and leading institution of technical education and training in Lao People’s Democratic Republic. During the exchange, the two sides conducted in-depth discussions on recruiting international students, specialty construction and teacher training. khamsavay, president of Laode Vocational and Technical College, expressed strong interest in CNC technology and other majors in Hunan Railway Vocational College. After in-depth communication, the two sides reached a preliminary cooperation intention.
At the same time, Hunan Railway Vocational College also exchanged views with Babasa Vocational and Technical College in Laos, introduced the school’s school-running characteristics and achievements, and demonstrated the school’s successful experience in practical teaching, school-enterprise cooperation and personnel training. At the same time, the president of Babasa Vocational and Technical College also introduced the current situation and development trend of vocational education in Laos to Hunan Railway Vocational College, and shared their experience in practical teaching and curriculum setting.
On the morning of December 14th, Hu Yingman and khamsavay signed a memorandum of exchange and cooperation in Changsha. Next, Hunan Railway Vocational College will carry out educational and academic research cooperation with Laode Vocational and Technical College in the fields of mutual visits between teachers and students, cooperative research, information resource sharing of cooperative majors and other exchange activities.
This exchange activity will lay a foundation for the subsequent training of students and teachers, promote the international development of vocational education, and contribute to the cultivation of more high-quality international talents.
