In terms of distribution, there are 47 cities in China with more than one million cars, including 16 cities in Beijing, Chengdu, Shenzhen, Chongqing, Shanghai, Suzhou, Tianjin, Zhengzhou, Xi ‘an, Hangzhou, Guangzhou, Wuhan, Shijiazhuang, Nanjing, Qingdao and Dongguan with more than two million cars.

As of September, the total number of motor vehicle drivers in China has reached 350 million, and the number of newly licensed motor vehicle drivers reached 8.96 million in the third quarter, an increase of 465,000 over the same period of last year, with a year-on-year increase of 5.5%; Since 2016, the number of newly licensed motor vehicle drivers has reached 28.31 million, an increase of 530,000 over the same period of last year and a year-on-year increase of 1.9%. Judging from the driving experience of drivers, there are 34.41 million drivers who have been driving for less than one year, accounting for 9.8% of the total number of drivers.
